Self-Packed Containers

These are packed at your own risk and are only insured by Lester's for a maximum of £2,000 per container against total loss due to fire or flood NOT theft or damage caused because the container was incorrectly packed.

All customers will be asked to sign a self-pack disclaimer to this effect.

Should you wish to gain access to your container a minimum of 2 days notice is required and there is a charge of £25.00 (plus VAT) for these service.

Hints for self-packing

Put the heavier items into the container first, with any smaller boxes/items (especially fragile items) on the top.

The weight should be evenly distributed throughout the container for the protection of you property and to limit movement when container is moved around.

Blankets are supplied in all containers and should be used to protect furniture from rubbing (against container or other items). All blankets remain the property of Lester's and must be replaced in the container upon vacation.
